The Hudson Candy Factory is a double-certified Historic Structure. Built in 1798, it is one of the last remaining original working structures on the storied River Street in downtown Troy, NY. It first housed Thompson Drug, which prospered during a 100-year tenure. The building then became the Wustefeld Candy Warehouse (hence our name!) until the company relocated to Green Island. A few owners later, our gaze fell upon it. We refurbished the space with historic integrity, blending its industrial vibe with softer elements reminiscent of the Victorian era and Troy’s “Gilded Age”. Exposed brick, hardwood floors, and views of the Hudson River enhance the charming ambiance of our unique venue.
